Make A Plan Of Attack To Manage Your Stress

Make a plan of attack to manage your stress.

A stress management plan should not require a lot of time and energy to put into place. It is simply a written commitment designed to help you reduce the level of stress in your life by taking a few small, but meaningful, steps toward improving your overall health and well-being.

A good place to begin your stress management plan is by identifying things that you really enjoy doing and making sure that you do more of these types of activities.

If you spend a little more time doing those things that bring joy and relaxation to your life and a little less of those things that continually make you tense and stressed out, you’re overall well-being will improve.

Make yourself this promise and write it down!!!

“This week I will…”

-Spend at least fifteen to twenty minutes every day doing one of the things that brings me pleasure and relaxation.

-Spend less time doing things that add stress or steal joy. If possible, outsource these things.

For example…

Do you hate mowing the lawn?

Then why do it? Hire a gardener and spend the 45 minutes to an hour you will have saved doing something that brings your life energy and rejuvenation.

What I am trying to say is this…

If you spend a little less time doing things that you know you despise and a little more time doing those things that bring joy to you and the ones around you, then you are bound to experience a positive shift in your overall well-being and perspective.
